Authentic Fendi Bag: How to Treat the Stains
- 1). Treat scuff marks on leather bags with a baking soda paste and polish. Apply water and baking soda with a small white cloth. Wipe the black marks gently. Let the purse air-dry for three to five minutes. Apply matching colored polish completely to cover the stained area. Do not use wax polish; it is too heavy for handbags.
- 2). Clean suede Fendi bags with a suede stone, brush or eraser. For light dust trapped in the nap of the suede, apply the stone or eraser in a circular motion. A stiff brush made for suede can repair scuffs. If water or anything wet spills onto your suede bag, take the bag to a repair shop that specializes in treating suede bags.
- 3). Use a brush with small bristles to clean a fabric bag soiled by dirt or dust. Do not apply water to the handbag. Skim bag with the smallest attachment on your vacuum cleaner using the lowest setting.
- 4). Remove grease or makeup stains on leather bags with baby powder. Blot the fresh grease stain with a clean cloth. Cover the stain completely with cornstarch or baby powder. Let the powders sit on the stain overnight. Remove the powder with a small bristled brush. Air-dry away from heat.
