• There is a huge array of exhaust tips that will fit a Camaro, but not all styles will fit on all Camaros. For instance, newer Camaros have an exhaust that exits out of a hole in the rear valance, and not all exhaust tips will fit in the opening, so make sure you buy the proper tip. For the newer models, a round tip is the most common application. The tips can also come in single wall or double wall construction, with the double wall generally being more durable but also more expensive. The ends of the tips can feature horizontal or slash cuts, depending on what you prefer. For older Camaros, there is a wide range of styles that will fit, including dual exaust tips, oval, rectangular and even square. • Exhaust tips are easy to find. Chevrolet dealers will usually have a selection of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) tips that can either be purchased from the dealer or ordered from a catalog. By far the largest selection of tips will be on the aftermarket. There are dozens of companies online that have large selections of generic exhaust tips as well as ones made specifically for Camaros. Simply type in what you are looking for in the search box and you will be presented with dozens of choices. Installation and Care

• The best way to install a set of chrome tips is to have a muffler shop weld them on. That way they can be cut to length perfectly and welded on for a permanent install. Many tips also come with set screws that simply screw the tips to the existing exhaust. This can be done in a few minutes, usually with only a screwdriver. Take care of the tips by cleaning them frequently with an auto detailing spray or even mild detergent, followed by a protective coat of chrome polish.
