How to Totally Block Access to Your Computer From Prying Eyes
- 1). Click the Windows icon in the desktop's lower-left corner and click "Control Panel."
- 2). Click "Security" and click "Windows Firewall." Click "Turn Windows Firewall on or off."
- 3). Enter your administrator account password, and click "Yes."
- 4). Click the check-box next to "Block all incoming connections." Click "On (recommended)" and click "OK."
- 1). Click the desktop's Windows icon, and click "Control Panel."
- 2). Click "Network and Internet" and click "Network and Sharing Center."
- 3). Click "Turn off network discovery" and click "Apply." Enter your admin password and click "Yes."
- 4). Click "Turn off file sharing" and click "Apply." Enter your admin password, and click "Yes" to save the changes and close the window.
- 1). Press "Ctrl," "Alt" and "Delete" on your keyboard and at same time, and click "Change a password."
- 2). Enter your current password in the old password field, and create a new password in the blank field.
- 3). Re-type the new password to confirm it as your new administrator password, and press "Enter" to save the changes.
