Cost If you dig around on the internet you'll find people quoting the price of private pilot training anywhere from $2,000 to $12,000 to get your private pilot license.
The price of books, classes, flying time, instructors time can really add up.
In all reality, going the traditional route, you're looking to spend around $6,000 to $10,000.
Like any difficult task, you need to make sure that this is really what you want and create a plan to stick by in order to get it completed as quickly as possible.
You don't want to get discouraged or burned out and just end up with half of your time and money spent on half of a license..
