All You Should Know About Bed Bug Larvae

1
Bed bug extermination can be a big challenge.
Discovering that you actually have companions in the house is the hardest part.
Some people suspect serious fleas invasion if they have dogs and cats in the house.
So they take measures to control fleas and surprisingly the problem continues.
To eliminate bed bugs, you have to understand their bleeding behavior first.
Most people want to understand the so called bed bug larvae.
However, bed bugs' bleeding process follows a natural cycle.
That is, it involves certain stages that are explained below.
In the first stage, the female bugs lay their eggs.
They find a properly hidden place to dump their eggs, such as in dark corners and cracks.
Studies indicate that a female bed bug is able to lay about three hundred to five hundred eggs over its lifespan.
It can exit at least five spawns each day that are about a quarter of an inch big.
They naturally hatch after ten days.
If you want to spot these bugs' seeds, look for very dark warm areas like your bed, upholstered items, carpets, couch and so on.
If the beg bugs' families have many females, you can imagine how big their numbers could grow in a short time.
After the eggs hatch, they become nymphs and enter their second phase.
Alternatively called bed bug larvae, nymphs are light brown after being hatched.
Upon their first existence, larvae will start haunting for anything they could eat.
Their food is you, unfortunately.
They will suck your blood to sustain themselves and as a result their color will become reddish.
For them to survive and grow quickly, they have to access your body everyday or suck blood at least once every twenty four hours.
At first you will overlook the red swollen bumps on your skin and perhaps blame fleas or mosquitoes.
This will be a great chance for the larvae to suck your blood and mature.
As they continue to grow, there will come a time when they will have to lose their baby exoskeleton.
This is called the molting process and it allows the tiny bugs to have new exoskeletons after shedding the older one.
Molting happens like five times before the nymphs can become full grown females and males.
Thus, after the first shedding process, they go through other four stages to become mature enough.
All this time your blood will be their main food.
Once they reach their adulthood, their bodies become draught resistant.
Even if they do not access any food they will survive for months.
They appear as lifeless exoskeletons when hungry.
Their healthy look restores once they find a new human host to suck blood from.
In fact, these parasites present a real challenge to eradicate during their adult stage.
As soon as they feed, these bugs regain their reproduction power and make babies fast.
For that reason, if you can afford to get rid of the bed bug larvae before they reach adulthood, it is possible to control the entire infestation.
The process might take a slightly longer time to succeed.
