Alice in Wonderland Costumes
As far as classic stories go, Alice in Wonderland has been an all time favorite for many today and it wouldn't be much of a surprise to know that maybe, you'd like to be Alice for Halloween this year! But with Halloween being just around the corner, costume shops have hiked up some prices so buying a costume wouldn't be worth it.
So, fret not because you can make one yourself! Rummage through your closet and look for a knee length blue dress that has a full skirt and pull that on.
If the dress doesn't have that volume that you need, add a fee petticoats underneath it to give you that bounce and fullness.
To get that white collar on Alice's dress, use some felt or lace or simply cut a strip of white cloth and either sew it on to the collar of the dress or use some sticky tape.
The real Alice has got a very simple and plain white apron on the dress, so grab your apron from the kitchen and put that on too.
If you feel like your costume is too plain, pick an apron with some lace, trimmings or extra details to it to add a unique touch.
Your costume is almost done, you just need to add some white tights underneath and a pair of black Mary Jane shoes and you're good to go! If you'd like to complete the look, throw on a blond wig and mark a parting down the center and you're the perfect Alice that belongs in wonderland! Don't worry if you don't have any of the items, you can always just work with what you have to improvise.
