Place the crate where he can see you.
This will reduce separation anxiety.
This may mean moving the crate from the bedroom to the main living area and trying a few different spots to see which one works best.
It is also very important to notice things like light and temperature.
You will need to be careful not to place the crate in direct sunlight or next to a radiator.
If you notice your Boston Terrier panting the whole time he is in the crate, it is in an area that is too warm.
