Hi, I¡¯m Erin Hendley, professional makeup artist, and today I¡¯m going to show you how to apply blush with a brush. Here, we have a selection of blushes. These are all powders, so powder blushes are best applied with a brush ¨C it¡¯s the only way it¡¯s really going to get onto the skin and be worked in consistently without creating a huge mess. When we think of how we want to apply this, and what kind of brush we want to use, think medium. Medium brush hairs, we don¡¯t want them too long, because we¡¯re working with a very small area on the face. So, we want to be precise. Pick a color that you want, dab it onto the powder, shake any excess powder off, and then lightly pat it onto the face where she¡¯s smiling. Turn it to the other side where it¡¯s clean, and then go back over it and work it into the skin. So, one side has product on it, and the other side is clean, so it works for both purposes to apply the makeup and then work it into the skin. This is the most achievable way to create a flawless blush without creating a mess. I¡¯m Erin Hendley, and I just showed you how to apply blush.
