How to Design a Car on the Internet
- 1). Go to the website of the auto manufacturer for the car you're looking to modify. Click on "Build Your Own," "Customize," or "Build."
- 2). Select the features you're looking to modify. Some options include "Model," "Engine," "Equipment" and "Body Style."
- 3). Modify the feature you selected in Step 3. You will get different options to choose from. For instance, if you have selected "Model," you will have to select a particular model of the manufacturer. To continue modifying the car, select one of the options from the sub-menu. For instance, if you have chosen a Volkswagen Beetle, select color, transmission or wheel size. You can also add or remove exterior and interior accessories such as sunroof, sport roof racks, floor mats and rear storage. Save or print out your vehicle options for access later.
- 4). Schedule a test drive and find a dealer from the manufacturer's website.
- 5). Estimate a payment for the modified version of the car. While doing that, you will have to enter the state and city of your residence, and choose a feasible financing option for the modified car. Some manufacturers can also let you apply for a lease or direct purchase online.
