How to Add Oil to Diesel Fuel in Cars
- 1). Fill one bucket with cooking oil. Cover the top of one of the other buckets with cheesecloth.
- 2). Pour the cooking oil through the cheesecloth to remove any particles. Remove the cheesecloth from the top of the bucket and discard.
- 3). Fill the remaining bucket half full with diesel. Fill the rest of the way with the strained cooking oil.
- 4). Mix the cooking oil and diesel together with the stirring stick.
- 5). Open the fuel tank door for your diesel car, then remove the fuel tank cap. Insert the narrow end of the funnel.
- 6). Pour the bio-diesel blend into the funnel. Pour slowly to avoid spillage. Replace the fuel tank cap and close the tank door.
