How to Revive Over Watered Flowers
- 1). Remove the flower from its pot or the ground with a trowel or similar garden tool without further damaging the root.
- 2). Place the root of the flower onto two sheets of newspaper laid across a flat surface. The newspaper will quickly absorb excess water from the plant. You may need to transfer the plant to another sheet of newspaper to absorb more water.
- 3). Carefully plant the flower into fresh soil.
- 4). Monitor the plant over the next several days to ensure its progress to recovery. Make sure not to give it too much water.
