But undoubtedly the great news for this year is the creation of the new snow park Superparque Sulayr, so that both free-ski lovers and snowboarders alike can give free rein to their best tricks in an enlarged space, with more modules and levels for all, better features for its users and all this in a new location in the Loma de Dílar.
One of the most relevant news of the 2010/2011 season is the creation of the Universiade slope and an underpass at its intersection with the Maribel slope.
This double action seeks to reconcile the development of competition without restricting to users the day of skiing or snowboarding in Sierra Nevada.
Thus, the slope Universiade will host now speed tests of Alpine Skiing (Super G) to be held in the station; the tunnel, about 50 meters long, illuminated and with all required safety measures, will allow the skier or snowboarder to reach Pradollano gliding before, during or after the race.
Along with the already existing offer of night-skiing (weekends), sleigh-excursions with huskies or horses, descend with slides and a large area with activities for non-skiers Sierra Nevada has a wide offer for visitors of all ages and interests.
