Install Google Maps

• 1). Go to your phone's "Home" screen by pressing the red "End call" button.
  
  
• 2). Open your phone's Web browser. Go to the "browser" tab by swiping your finger left and right; the "browser" tab will be labeled and its icon will be a globe.
  
  
• 3). Type "m.google.com/maps" in the address bar at the top of the screen.
  
  
• 4). Select the "Install now" option.
  
  
• 5). Continue through the prompts to allow the download and installation.
  
  

Start Using Google Maps.

• 1). Tap the "Start" button and select "Google Maps."
  
  
• 2). Turn on Google's "My Location," if you prefer. Tap the "Menu" button in the lower-right hand corner of the screen, and then select "My Location" to go to your position on the map. This feature allows Google to automatically look for search results relevant to where you currently are. If you aren't comfortable with the app having your location information, you can turn it off by tapping "Menu" and selecting "Options," then "Disable My Location."
  
  
• 3). Search for nearby locations in the provided search field. You can type in a specific address or you can type in a type of business, like "coffee shop" or "grocery store."
  
  
• 4). Get directions by tapping the "Menu" button and selecting "Directions..." There you can enter a starting and ending address, and Google Maps will provide you with directions.
