Niagara Falls is a timeless family vacation destination that offers an abundance of activities and attractions. While the area is internationally known for its natural water attraction, visitors can enjoy many other water activities while visiting Niagara Falls, including a few water parks. Several resorts on the Canadian side of the Falls feature indoor water parks for their guests, which are also open to other in-town visitors. Open year-round, these water parks offer pools, water slides and interactive water structures that will delight visitors of all ages. - The Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, located in the Fall Avenue Entertainment Complex in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is North America's largest indoor water park and resort. The three-acre enclosed water park features 16 water slides, a wave pool, a children's splash area and an interactive water structure with a tipping bucket that periodically dumps patrons with 1,000 gallons of water. Outdoor activities at the park include the Sunnyside Patio and Pool, which offers a year-round outdoor activity pool and sundeck. Admission to the water park is included with your stay at one of the complex's hotels, or day passes may be purchased at the park. The complex hotels include the Sheraton on the Falls Hotel, the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls--Fallsview Hotel, the Skyline Inn Niagara Falls and the Hampton Inn by Hilton at the Falls.

The indoor water park features a four-story interactive water fort with tipping buckets, a wave pool, a lazy river, activity pools, spa tubs, a play area for small children and 13 water slides. The water slides include a family water roller coaster, the Canada Vortex bowl slide and three tube slides that twist and turn for over 1,000 feet before dropping you into the pool below. During the summer months, the resort also offers an outdoor pool, sun deck and spa tub. Non-guests of the resort may purchase day passes for the water park at the front desk.

A glass structure surrounds the park, giving it an outdoor feel while maintaining a pleasant 84-degree-Fahrenheit temperature inside year-round. During the warmer months, the retractable roof can open up to reveal an open-air water park. Waves Indoor Water Park offers tube slides and body slides that are up to three stories high, along with a wave pool, whirlpools, activity pool and an interactive play structure with a tipping bucket.
