Antojos Traditional Mexican Food
People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind.
A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Whatever! It's all for fun!

We tried antojos for the first time and I have to say as a family we were very impressed. The Carnitas Burrito was very tasty and worth every cent. The Guacamole is real Guacamole !!! (hard to find fresh homemade guacamole anywhere. Margaritas are outstanding (Strawberry and Mango) The red and green corn tamales are so flavorful. The atmosphere and music was great, my grandparents loved it, It was a joy to have had our Thanksgiving Dinner here, we made the right choice. The Customers are so friendly and it feels like home, The owners are very nice an very sociable. I will be having Antojos cater my Christmas Dinner This Is Awesome. We all live about 45 minutes away but it is worth the drive and I want to Bless this family and can't wait for the new location.

The night after I ate there, for the first time, I got really sick! I was throwing up all night and was not a happy camper. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anybody. It was an awful experience.

Red Chili is AWESOME!!!!! The Rice was nice and hot .... had to get more.Beans were AWESOME as well, Chips were nice and hot and perfect with there homemade hot sauce...Got to sell this stuff in stores. Environment was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Now I know why this place is packed. I will be back for more RED CHILI!!!!!!! Keep Up the GOOD WORK ANTOJOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food was bland and dry -- a cold drink is a must to wash this stuff down. The main dishes were cold and the side dishes appeared to have been sitting out for a while. Staff was rude. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.

They have the best AUTHENTIC mexican food I have ever tasted. And i was so glad to see that real mexicans owned it. Try the carne asada , monterey enchiladas, or green chili burros because gringos thats what Mexican food is suppose to taste like.

The food was good but served warm, not hot. I expected china plates and utensils like shown in the pictures, the review and on the restaurant web site, but got disposable, which made the restaurant seem like fast food. Chips and salsa were good, and the Red Chili Chimichanga was the menu standout. But this is a fast food place, not a restaurant

My mom would hate me if I said this but, this is better than my moms. This is what Mexican Food should taste like. They give good service, friendly and the food is fresh, cooked, and prepared on the premises chips and salsa are cooked fresh on the premises as well. Margaritas are to die for especially the Mango. They have the best Menu items I have found in a long time Especially Monterey Cream Cheese Enchiladas with Chicken, I would have spent twice as much at other places and I can guarantee I would have not been happy. I highly recommend Antojos to everyone.
