  While those over the age of 21 have plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, those under the age of 21 often have a hard time searching for a place that will let them have fun too. However, York, PA knows kids of all ages want to have a good time on weekends and there are a few places in the city that will allow them to do just that.
  
  

H.O.T.

• For anyone over the age of 14 and under the age of 21 in the York, PA area, H.O.T. is the place to be on weekends. Parents are happy to know this place is around because it's a safe and fun club for teens, and it closes early at 11:00 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday nights. The club is huge, with rooms for computer and console gaming, big screen TVs to watch games and shows and a large dance floor. DJs spin Top 40 music that's appropriate for the younger teens, while still popular with the older teens. Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are sold.

Club 19

• Club 19 is an all-ages club. The venue plays host to a variety of bands every weekend and some week nights. There isn't a DJ or a typical "dance floor" but is more of a small concert feeling. However, because there is no alcohol served, the place is kept clean and safe for young concert-goers. Club 19 is an inexpensive option for young people to have fun on the weekends, with most concert tickets at under $10.

Club Xs

• If you're over the age of 18, but under the age of 21 and want to hang out with folks your own age or older, Club XS is where you want to be this Friday night. In fact, you're welcome there for trivia games, movies, karaoke, live music or DJs, depending on the night. Be sure to check in advance, as some "swingers nights" may be only for those over the age of 21. However, for the real club nights with a DJ, standard 18-plus rules apply.
