Make sure it is clear that you have in interest in topics related to the industry and role you are looking to work in.
5. Twitter search isn't just for employers. Use the same techniques that smart employers do and search for tweets that reference job opportunities that you may be interested in and qualified for. Simply visit http://search.twitter.com and try entering some keywords related to your dream job. This may include job titles and company names plus descriptive words like "hiring" or "jobs". This is a great way to expand your reach beyond just the Twitter accounts that you follow.
6. Be careful what you share publicly about about the hiring process once it has begun. It may be tempting to tweet out your uncensored thoughts or opinions about your potential employer once you've started the hiring process. Be very careful about this as it may not be welcomed by your potential employer. As always, think before you tweet!
