How to Make a Lottery Ticket Wreath for St. Patty's Day
- 1). Secure one end of the ribbon to the Styrofoam wreath with two straight pins. Push pins directly through the ribbon and down into the foam for a secure attachment. Working off the roll, wrap the wreath with the ribbon so that it is completely covered. Cut the ribbon and secure the end with straight pins.
- 2). Attach the lottery tickets to the wreath with the straight pins. Use two or more pins for each ticket. This ensures they are securely held in place. Cover only the face of the wreath with the tickets.
- 3). Attach small ornaments of choice with straight pins. Ornaments and charms are available at craft stores. Many come with small loops for hanging. Push the straight pin directly through the string loop and into the foam. Choose Irish specific items including shamrocks, leprechauns and pots of gold.
- 4). Cut 12 inches of ribbon. Loop the ribbon around the top of the wreath and tie a knot. Use the remaining ribbon to tie a bow. Hang the wreath so the bow covers any hanging hardware.
