It's interesting to note that some very well heeled people pay some serious money to spend time at exclusive health spas and resorts, in order to feel and look better.
Yet the most effective of the treatments they receive, is something you can implement in the comfort of your own home.
I am of course referring to what you eat.
But why would a different way of eating be so effective in improving the way a person feels and looks? The "secret" lies in unprocessed foods.
Fresh fruit and vegetables have not been subjected to any man-made processes which inevitably denature them.

Lund was able to measure the minute electrical presence emanating from the cells of plants.
This electrical activity changes with the health of the plant, for example, changes in electromagnetic radiation from the plant is detectable even before the plant levels of auxins (the plant hormone that precedes growth) increase.
What this suggests is that there is a form of energy within fresh unprocessed food, which when ingested by us, seems to compliment our own inbuilt energy reserves.

The raw unprocessed plant emits strong brilliant spikes of light while the cooked version showed only the slightest hint of any energy at all.
It is this measurable energy, inherent in all living plants, which we "drink" in when we eat fruits and vegetables which are as fresh as possible and not processed.
This is nutritional energy of the highest order, a theory perhaps, but one which seems to have garnered a larger following in the last 20 years.
It is of course not necessary, nor possible to eat nothing but fruits and vegetables, for purely social reasons alone this would be a problem.
However if you were to increase your intake of fresh foods to the point where they represent 50-75% of your total food intake, you would be on par with what is recommended by the most seasoned and knowledgeable raw food experts.
If you really want to improve your energy levels without submitting completely to what doesn't seem like the most macho way of eating, then simply give it a try at breakfast time, freshly juiced carrots and oranges are so potent in energy giving nutrients and vitamns, you will feel a tangible difference after a week or two which will be difficult for even the hardest skeptic to deny.
