Honda Odyssey Specs
- According to Honda's website, the 2011 Honda Odyssey starts at a $27,800 manufacturer's suggested retail price, and has five model types: from the the base model LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite, which is the top of the line. The minivan comes with a number of standard features as well as optional accessories.
- The 2011 Honda Odyssey's 248-horsepower engine has 24 valves and is 3.5 liters. The Odyssey Touring model is rated for 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Odyssey EX-L and other models get 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. The minivan has Honda's Variable Cylinder Management engine that is designed to run on three, four or six cylinders depending on performance needs. The engine automatically activates or deactivates cylinders as needed.
- Honda Odyssey EX models and higher come with power sliding doors and EX-L models and higher also come with a power tailgate to facilitate loading and unloading. The Touring Elite Odyssey model, features high-intensity, discharge headlights that Honda says increases visibility and are stronger than halogen lights.
- The minivan's interior of all models include voice command, a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat, multi-view rear view camera and removable center console with trash receptacle. EX-L models and higher come equipped with a small cooling box. that can hold up to six 12-ounce cans or four 20-ounce bottles.
- Accessories for the Odyssey include roof rails, a remote control engine starter, cargo nets, floor mats and seat covers as well as attachments for surfboards, kayaks, bikes, golf clubs and even a tent. Exterior accessories include trim, wheel locks and sunroof visors.
