1). Plug in the printer's power and Ethernet cables. Make sure that the Ethernet cable connects to the an empty network router port. Power on the printer.
2). Open the control panel by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "Hardware and Sound."
3). Click "Add a printer" under "Printers." The printer wizard will appear.
4). Click "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer." Select the name of the printer to be added to the network.
5). Click "Download drivers and software," and click the arrows to complete the installation wizard.
