Hiking Big Creek Greenway (North Point)
The Big Creek Greenway North Point trail encompasses a paved track of 6.

Parking spots can be found at the Haynes BridgeRoad, North Point Mall, Preston Ridge Road, and the east of Northpoint Parkway.
The Big Creek Greenway Park is an alternative to mall shoppers who just want to take a break from their busy lives.
At the entrance you will find bathrooms and a bulletin board that indicates the trailhead.
Pace to the right from the wood-chip covered trail and continue to a wide elevated bridge.
As you leave the bridge, notice some birdhouses and several feeders that attract bluebirds, finches, and cardinals.
The footpath swerves to the northern section of the swamp adjacent to a storm drain from the mall next to the park.
It then continues through the mid portion of the marsh where at time this trail can be muddy.
As you continue, the path reaches Big Creek's tributary and just a short distance from this you will find a staircase.
At this area you have three alternative routes where the first path to the right gradually takes to an easy climb to Mansell Road.
The straight path forward leads to the south bank of Big Creek which returns to the center of the park.
The last option where a boardwalk can be seen leads you back to the swamp's southern edge which follows the river's northern bank.
Moving past this, you will find the second bridge crossing Big Creek about half a mile on either paths.
The bridge serves as a viewing deck where the beautiful scenery will amaze you.
Go back to the 4-way intersection and follow the path that leads you to Haynes Bridge Road.
Take 5 miles north and approach Webb Bridge Road.
Turn left after emerging under the bridge to where Haynes Bridge parking area is.
Wind through the marsh nearby the river and continue towards Kimball Bridge Road.
From here, the path swirls and moves past as it continues to ascend to a street crossing.
Lead abruptly back to the river from this road point.
Reaching Kimball Bridge, approach Old Milton Parkway where the paved path further leads north where you'll see some apartments.
From Old Milton to Webb Bridge Road, the trail takes you 1.

Move past the YMCA building above left until you reach an unmarked path to your right after a bridge.
Just a short distance from here you will end at a map and trailhead marked with directions.
