How to Set a Floss Pan onto a Cotton Candy Machine
- 1). Read the owner's manual. This will not only make you aware of any safety precautions, but also let you know about your particular floss pan. The floss pan is essential to making cotton candy.
- 2). Place the floss pan on the machine. The hole in the center of the floss pan goes around the spinner head where the spun sugar comes out. There are feet, or rests, on the machine itself for the pan to sit on. These pans are usually metal and are heavy enough not to move too much if they get bumped.
- 3). Turn the machine on and start the candy-making process. Be sure the floss pan is cleaned after each use.
- 1). Read the owner's manual. The owner's manual will give you the information you need to make the candy.
- 2). Twist the pan to lock it underneath the heads of the studs. These studs are located on the top of the machine base and look like screws that stick up. In the floss pan itself, you will see hole and slot combinations.
- 3). Remove the floss pan by reversing the process.
