The 7-keto variety was considered best as the more standard form was thought to cause an increase in testosterone levels.

Perhaps the best conclusion is that DHEA is simply a mistaken substitute for the Fountain of Youth and may not be worth the money it costs. Maybe green tea is superior for longevity purposes.
