T-Shirts and Sweaters

• To make t-shirts and sweaters go from simple to Christmas-themed, use a few sheets of iron-on felt to embellish them. Cut out shapes of Christmas trees, angels, bells, Santa Claus or holly from the pieces of iron-on felt. Use scissors to cut out smaller pieces of felt and glue the pieces of felt together to create a realistic image. Once you are satisfied with the iron-on felt design that you have created, iron it on to a cotton t-shirt or sweater, and wear it during the holidays.
  
  

Holiday Banner

• If you are looking to host a dinner party during the holidays, or simply want to get in the Christmas spirit, create a holiday banner using a length of cotton fabric and iron-on felt. Cut out the iron-on felt to say things such as "Merry Christmas!" or "Ho Ho Ho!" Then, draw any Christmas-themed pictures on the felt and cut them out. • Decorating Christmas stockings is a great, memorable family activity. Purchase some simple Christmas stockings from a craft or holiday store. Use the iron-on felt to cut out the names of each family member. Decorate the stockings with your favorite images of Christmas, whether that be Santa Claus, a Christmas tree or reindeer. • Felt ornaments are a simple holiday craft. Create ornaments for your family's Christmas tree, give them to your friends for Secret Santa or hand them out at the office. To make Christmas ornaments out of iron-on felt, first create Christmas designs with the felt. Cut out the felt into the desired shapes and decorate it with other pieces of felt, small bells and gold glitter glue. Then, iron the felt onto a piece of thick cotton or muslin, to make the ornament sturdier. Glue a piece of string or yarn onto the back of the ornament, so that it forms a loop with which you can hang the ornament on a Christmas tree.
