The #1 Best Way to Get Your Friends and Followers Clicking on More of Your Links

8
Every day, you want to share valuable content with your friends and followers.
But not only do you probably not have enough time to write 2-3 good articles every single day yourself, your followers will be more interested in what you have to say if you present content that comes from other people - not just you.
But where do you find good content to share? Of course you can subscribe to blog feeds, but there's a website called AllTop that aggregates content for you and makes the whole thing really easy.
They collect all the most popular blog posts every day.
They also have a feature called My Alltop - notable people create lists of the blogs and content sources that they like.
So if you want to share the same kinds of content that those people like, you simply look at their alltop lists.
On any given day, you might check out a given person's MyAlltop.
That person has aggregated all the stuff that they think is most interesting, organized into different categories.
So what you do is look for interesting headlines that you think your audience would respond to.
Mouse over the headline and it gives you a summary.
Click on it, and it opens that article in a new browser window.
Scan over the article to make sure that it's good content that your audience will like, and then you share it on whichever social media profile you want to use - Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, whatever.
You do that either by using a bookmarklet in your browser bar, or by simply copying the URL and pasting it into the appropriate profile.
Now you need to write the tweet itself.
Keep in mind that your tweet/update is essentially a headline - you need to let people know a bit about what it's about, but also give them a reason to click on it.
In other words, a benefit.
If the article is from a popular source, like Mashable or the Wall Street Journal, make sure to say that in your tweet/update too.
