Santa, Snowmen and Holiday Jars for 2013
Looking for a new Christmas jar? Or perhaps a fun one that would be a great gift? Here are the new ones out for 2013. So many to pick from . .
Exclusive at Macy's, from the Martha Stewart Collection, this Santa is large and has a great vintage look.
A jolly rotund Santa with an unusual sweater pattern. It's called the Knit Santa, but in truth looks a bit more like a braided design. Either way, it's a different look and crafters who work with yarns will love it.
The same design as the Ganz Santa, but this time as a scarf.
Whimsical snowman with candy and cookie colors swirling on the jar. A little bit different than other Snowmen jars.
This is without a doubt, no question about it, the cutest Snowman jar ever. I don't collect snowmen jars -- but I want this one. Absolutely adorable and great price too!
There is a coordinating candy jar also available, head only, that is equally cute and affordable at $25.
Although the catalog pages claim this is modeled after a vintage piece, I'm not quite sure what one they mean. But that doesn't take away from the fun look of this jar from Pottery Barn.
A new jar is out from Disney for the holiday season (finally!), the Christmas package with Mickey and Minnie on top is a fun one and I know a few Disney collectors that would be happy to find this under their tree. Or better yet -- give it early so they can use it for the holiday season.
Neiman Marcus' Gingerbread House jar is probably the one, from this list, coming to our house this season. It's dated, it's Christmas and it's a Gingerbread house which will be perfect next to the gingerbread/cookie jar. How can I go wrong?
Note that size is a little on the small size compared to most jars on the list.
Also check out their annual holiday cookie tin filled with chocolate chip cookies. If you haven't had a Neiman Marcus cookie, just be warned there is a reason why their recipe story has made the Internet rounds for years.
It's just a crock jar, but so very cute. I liked it so much I wound up buying it as a gift! Look for this at your local Hallmark stores, comes with a few coordinating go-withs.
A very large snowman jar from Louisville Stoneware. Their jars are individually made, so you will wait a while to receive them. But they are not the typical "seen everywhere" jar, so it can be worth the wait.
This snowman jar appears to be quite large!
