Grim Reaper Foods Trio Of Chilli Chocolate
We have a chillitastic set of products here at the Devil's Garden for those who like spice and are also proud chocoholics.
Grim Reaper Foods, an up and coming UK brand has concocted a trio of chilli chocolates that are worth dying for, namely: Purgatory, Hell Raiser and the ominous Black Widow.
These three chilli chocolates each have a particular quality and we know for a fact that the man behind the Grim Reaper Foods brand has spent many months perfecting them at the detriment of his own health (yes, one CAN eat too much chocolate!).
The most famous of the lot so far is the amazing Grim Reaper Foods Purgatory Chilli Chocolate. We have had many people try this quality white chilli chocolate which is flavoured with bergamot oil (an unusual but fantastic combination) and not one person thought it anything less than tasty, just hot enough and most of all absolutely great to have on all occasions. It is definitely the hottest chilli chocolate of the lot but not so much that you need to make a run for the extinguisher. But do not take our word for it as the chilli community also recognised the greatness of this white chilli chocolate and rightly gave it the 2011 National Chilli Award which is no mean feat for a young brand.
Grim Reaper Foods Hell Raiser Chilli Chocolate is kind of like the "Sons of Anarchy" TV show. On the outside it's tough, it's scary, it's everything your mum told you you should run from, but get inside the pack and into this chilli chocolate's good side and you'll be introduced to a world of flavour debauchery spiked with spicy danger. It is very very hard to resist crunching every last morsel of this chilli milk chocolate as the creaminess and orgasmic taste melting on your tongue takes over all of your senses and soon your brain is screaming for its next fix. The hint of orange essence in the background provides a second wave of pleasure that we haven't found in any other chilli milk chocolate out there.

This chilli chocolate always provides us with a sense of dread as its appearance is dense, dark and you just know it's going to hurt. But just like Hell Raiser chilli chocolate once you've overcome the first heatwave the 73% cacao takes over which makes for a real explosion of flavour in your mouth, overtaking every bit of your tongue, palate and throat.
