How to Rig a Crappie Boat
- 1). Install a bow-mounted electric trolling motor to your boat. Use a drill to make pilot holes for the motor mount. Mount the motor with the hardware provided and a screwdriver. Attach the trolling motor power cord to the boat battery.
- 2). Mount an electronic fish finder at the bow of the boat in a location that is easily viewable by all fishermen. Use the hardware provided by the fish finder manufacturer. Attach the transducer to the base of the trolling motor. Connect the transducer wire to the fish finder and the power cable to the boat battery.
- 3). Mount two T-bar rod holders at the bow of the boat. Place the base of each T-bar 3 to 5 feet from the bow on opposite sides of the boat. Use a drill, screwdriver and hardware provided to mount the T-bar.
- 4). Attach two fishing seats in the bow of the boat. Position the seats side-by-side making sure to allow adequate room for fisherman. Attach the seats using the cordless drill, screws and a screwdriver.
- 5). Install a landing net holder. Position the holder so all anglers have access to the net. Place the long-handled net in the holder.
