3 Tips to Help Me Stop Snoring!
I grew up with snorers in the family.
There was a time when this was perfectly acceptable.
However, there are times when it is not.
Like when you are visiting someone's else's home and you are afraid you will wake up everyone in the house including making their dog howl!Or, when you go on a vacation with other families, and no one opts to sleep in your room or near your room.
They may good-naturedly say, oh, I'll sleep in another room, I don't mind.
You get the hint.
You need to do something about your snoring.
Tip #1Pillows Sometimes simply changing your position while sleeping can lessen the snores eminating from your throat.
There are body pillows sold in many stores designed just for this purpose that are heavy and big enough to keep you in a certain position so that you don't roll over.
Tip #2Doctor Go see your doctor.
Some men and women have soft palates that cause a certain vibration that result in heavy snoring.
A doctor can advise you as to whether or not you are a good candidate for minor surgery to correct this.
Another concern is that your snoring can lead to a condition called "sleep apnea" where you actually cease to breathe for a few moments at a time.
Before you get to this stage, seek professional medical help and advice.
Tip #3When you don't want to snore, don't consume alcohol! Alcohol and tobacco use or consumption can lead to increased snoring, so if it is a very special night and you don't want to snore at all, limit or bypass your alcohol consumption for that night.
As far as tobacco use, if you care about your long-term health, you will find a way to quit!
