Now, in the From column, enter the email address/addresses of the sender/senders you would like to filter.
To ensure proper search, click on the blue button placed on the left side bottom of the window. You can click again on the down arrow in search bar to get back to the search window.
Now click on Create filter with this search hyperlink on the bottom right of this window, which will open a new window displaying a number of possible actions which can be applied to your search criteria.
Now select Delete it, by checking the right checkbox.
This will help in automatically sending all messages from this sender into the Trash folder.

Part 2 includes filtering senders in open messages,
For this you need to click on the down arrow on the left corner of an open message, now, from the drop-down box find Filter messages like this option.
The From space must have the email address of the sender
Now click on Create filter with this search displayed as hyperlink at the bottom right
In the new window, check the box saying Delete it.
This will help in blocking the chosen sender from sending any new mails or messages to your inbox.
