How to Make a Gift Wrap Organizer
- 1). Arrange the wrapping paper rolls in the hamper. You want a hamper with a removable lid or one that is tall enough to close with wrapping paper rolls standing upright inside.
- 2). Measure the width of the hanging toiletry organizer pouch. You want a flat hanging organizer with clear plastic pouches. Cut a length of Velcro that matches the width of the pouch. Hot glue one part of the Velcro to the top back of the bag and the other piece along the top front edge of the hamper.
- 3). Fill the organizer pouch with scissors, glue, gift labels and other small gift-wrapping supplies. Attach the pouch to the hamper using the Velcro.
- 1). Cut a narrow rectangle out of the side of the oatmeal container about a half an inch wide and the full length of the container. This is where the ends of the ribbon rolls will come out for access.
- 2). Cover the outside of the container by gluing a piece of decorative paper around it. Cut the rectangle out of the paper using a craft knife.
- 3). Cut the wooden dowel slightly longer than the length of the oatmeal container. Punch a hole in the bottom of the container and the lid.
- 4). Slide the ribbon rolls onto the dowel. Place the dowel inside the oatmeal container with the end of the dowel sticking out of the bottom. Place the lid on the container to hold the other end of the dowel in place.
- 5). Cut a length of satin ribbon to create a holder for the oatmeal container ribbon holder. Tie a loop at each end of the ribbon. Slide the loops onto the ends of the dowel to suspend the ribbon holder. Place the plastic hooks on one side of the hamper, hanging the ribbon holder on the hooks.
