Lower back pain is one of the most common complaints among pregnant women.
This may cause discomfort and at the moment, there is no known medical treatment yet.
Lower back pain-early pregnancy shouldn't really be a cause for an alarm because this is normal.
The reason why your back hurts is because your uterus is growing and your body is undergoing some hormonal changes (this will loosen your joints and ligaments that attach to your pelvic bones).
Your expanding uterus tends to shift the center of gravity and then it will stretch out and weaken the abdominal muscles thus changing your posture and putting a strain on your back.
Another reason for lower back pain (early pregnancy) is the extra weight you carry.
This means that your muscles have to work harder and there's an increase stress on your joints which is why a lot of women complain that their back feel worse at the end of the day.
You'll also experience back pain if your growing uterus presses on a nerve.
The two most common patterns of back pain among pregnant women are lumbar pain and pelvic pain.
Others experience both symptoms.
