First of all, if you haven't gotten the game yet, what are you waiting for? This game is absolutely awesome. The creators have really out done themselves this time. Rock band 3 is much better than its predecessor.

Now for what everyone has been wanting to know. What are the Rock Band 3 cheats?

Many of the early cheats that everyone is aware of is how to unlock different styles of instruments. The popular cheats will unlock silver, gold and clear instruments.

Silver Instruments

To unlock this type of instrument, you must complete the bonus tour for your specific instrument and do that on any level of difficulty.

Gold Instruments

To unlock this type of instrument, you must complete the solo tour for your specific instrument and do that on medium or hard.

Clear Instruments

To unlock this type of instrument, you must first play through the Band World Tour and also have body guards and a PR firm as well. Once this happens, you are invited to play Moscow's Hall of Fame concert. When you finish the 8 song list your clear instruments will be unlocked.
