I'm learning that social networks are one of the most important things to be involved in when you're trying to promote your online business.

You should join as many online networking websites as possible.

Accept a connection from anyone. Make friends everywhere. Why connect to anyone? Because this is networking--people know people who know people. It is very short-sighted to refuse to contact someone here just because it seems that you are not going to buy something directly from them or they from you.

Also, having a large network makes you look more credible. In reality, having a large network simply means that you have a large network and doesn't really have any

relationship to how good you are at your business at all. But that is the usual perception:

"Oh look, he has 153 people in his network, he must be good at what he does!"

And on the other hand: , "Hmm. Only 11 people in his network after two months. I wonder

what's wrong with his business?"

There is more to networking than just having people connected.
