How to Convert a Wab to a PST
- 1). Open Microsoft Outlook.
- 2). Click the "File" menu. Select "Import and Export."
- 3). Select "Import Internet Mail and Addresses" under "Choose an Action to Perform."
- 4). Select "Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6.x" under "Select the Internet Mail Application to Import from."
- 5). Select the "Import Address Book" check box. Uncheck "Import Mail" and "Import Rules." Click "Next."
- 6). Specify the options for importing duplicate contacts. You may select to overwrite existing data with your imported contacts, allow duplicates (the program will not overwrite data), or do not allow duplicates (the program will not import duplicated data).
- 7). Click "Finish" to complete the export.
- 8). Click the "File" menu and select "New." Select "Outlook Data File" to create a new PST file from your imported data.
- 9). Click "Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.pst)" if you are using Outlook 2003 or 2007. Otherwise, select "Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst)." Outlook 2003 and 2007 use a .pst format that cannot be read by older versions of Outlook.

Type a new file name for the .pst file in the "File Name" box. Type a display name for the folder in the "Name" box. - 11
Type a password for the file if you want to secure the file. The new .pst folder will appear in the Folder List under the "Go" menu.
