How to Edit Quicken Sounds
- 1). Click on the Windows "Start" button and open the "Control Panel."
- 2). Click on "Hardware and Sound."
- 3). Click "Change System Sounds" underneath the "Sound" heading.
- 4). Click on the "Sounds" tab. A list appears, showing you all the sound preferences for your desktop software.
- 5). Scroll the list of system sounds until you notice the Quicken heading.
- 6). Click on the individual sound you want to edit. Sounds are identified by their associated action. For example, the "close program" sound plays whenever you exit Quicken.
- 7). Click "browse" and locate the new, custom sound you want to use for the selected Quicken action.
- 8). Click "OK" when you are finished editing the Quicken sound files.
