- The Vector Yamaha, also known as the Yamaha RS Vector Mountain, is a one-passenger snowmobile. With its lightweight components, including the engine, the hydraulic brake system and the chassis; wide mountain skis; and 151-inch mountain track with 2-inch deep lugs, the Vector Mountain is suitable for snowcross, racing and general riding.
- The 2007 Yamaha RS Vector Mountain contains a liquid-cooled, three-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a displacement of 973 cubic centimeters and a two-valve intake design. The engine has a 79-mm bore with a 66.2-mm stroke, a 40-mm Keihin carburetor and a rear exhaust system. The Vector also has a YVXC clutch, a variable-ratio transmission, and two-piston hydraulic brakes with ventilated discs.
- The Vector has an an independent, double-wishbone front suspenstion, with a travel of 7 inches. - The dry weight is 571 lb. The fuel tank has a capacity of 10 gallons, and takes regular unleaded gas. The oil capacity is 3 quarts and the engine takes Yamalube 4 10w-30 Cold Weather Formula. It has an electric starter, and overall dimensions of 125.4 inches long by 46 inches wide by 46.7 inches tall.
