Tall Linen Cabinet to the Rescue

3
In some modern homes storage can be a real problem.
Often the homeowners are just lazy and untidy, but for many the restriction in floor space can be a cause of clutter.
Small rooms in expensive real estate areas or naturally smaller rooms like the bathroom can be a particular eyesore when it comes to surplus clutter.
With little spare floor space sometimes the only way to get lots of extra storage space is by going upwards towards the ceiling, and buying a tall linen cabinet, for example, can provide a lot of storage capacity with little floor space eaten up.
When it comes to linen cabinets the modern bathroom is really a new location for them; linen cabinets originally were used for fine bed linen and table linen and were likely to be sited in the bedroom, walk-in closet, dining room or even out in the hallway.
But with bathrooms came a bigger market for towels and thus a need for towel storage.
With towels being quite bulky and the modern desire for convenience, the introduction of a tall linen cabinet to a bathroom has provided a very useful option for bathroom storage in general but especially for towels.
When planning a new bathroom it is a good idea to add a tall linen cabinet to your storage needs, as towels are a bathroom essential and storing laundered towels away from the bathroom is not good planning.
If you need extra storage for an existing bathroom then finding one should not be too difficult as these types of cabinets are now relatively common.
There is a good chance you will find a close or perfect match for other bathroom furniture such as the medicine cabinet and vanity.
Of course the bathroom is not the only place where you can use a tall linen tower or cabinet.
Placing one in a laundry room is a good idea for those who have a big supply of towels and a separate laundry room too; other places where they may be sited is in the bedroom, in the hallway outside the bathroom if it is wide enough, or perhaps in a large walk-in closet.
