    • 1). Cleanse your skin both in the morning and evening. In the morning, choose a cleanser that contains alpha hydroxy acid, as it promotes cell turnover and exfoliation. In the evening, wash your face with a makeup remover, if you wear makeup, followed by a creamy, moisturizing cleanser.

    • 2). Apply a serum containing vitamin C daily, or every other day, after you cleanse your face in the morning. Vitamin C works best during the daytime. It's an anti-aging ingredient and also brightens the skin tone and helps fade age spots.
