How to Make Corned Beef Gravy
- 1). Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- 2). Carefully add flour to the pan. Add a small amount of flour at a time using a whisk. Continue to whisk the butter and flour until the butter dissolves into the flour.
- 3). Combine the sugar with the flour mixture. Stir the ingredients until the sugar dissolves.
- 4). Place the milk into the mixture by adding ½ cup at a time. Use the whisk to make the mixture smooth, and allow the milk to become warm between each pour.
- 5). Add the corned beef to the gravy. Continue to cook the ingredients until the gravy reaches your preferred consistency. Add a small amount of water to thin the gravy.
- 6). Season the gravy with salt and pepper.
