I found out about this campground in the Trailer Life directory, and I RV camped there in May 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
We live in our RV full-time.
Pros: Clean and well kept. Employees were courteous, but the owner is another story.
Cons: We will never stay here again and warn all dog owners to go elsewhere. On our second day, I was verbally abused by the owner when I let our arthritic 20-year-old little terrier cross an unoccupied space on the way back from the distant dog area.
It started with yelling "Hey You, what do you think you're doing?" and went downhill from there calling me a slob and so on. In over two years of full-timing, we have never had problems with pet management and are very conscientious about cleanup and such. For the first time ever, we were immediately evicted. It looks like we're in good company, from reading other reviews of this place. Of course there was no refund. By the way, when my husband checked politely with the front desk to see if there was anyone in authority who could do this, the employee started to break into tears. He felt so sorry for her. In our opinion, this individual should deal with his serious issues with animals as evidenced by his attack and the over-the-top Dog Rules and "Canineology and Mannerology" manifesto. Admittedly, we did not see that on the reverse side of the rules, or we would have left immediately before registering. We were a bit concerned about the Rules of Combat "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out" style poster in the office and the anti-Islamic sign in the front driveway, but free speech still applies as I hope it does here.

I wish I could give a minus-value review. Treating paying guests like this negates any other positive aspects of the park.
