How to Make a Spa Party Invitation
- 1
Mask outline; P. Gaulin
Trace the outline of a real eye mask onto a piece of card stock. Use a white, sea green, light blue or beach sand color. Cut out an eye mask shape with scissors. Make two paper masks for each invitation. - 2
Two holes; P. Gaulin
Take two of the paper masks. Punch a hole in the left side of the mask, through both pieces of paper. Thread one end of a satin ribbon or other ribbon through both holes. Tie a knot in the back to secure it in place. Poke a brad through the holes. Fold over the ends of the brad on the back of the card. - 3
Right side; P. Gaulin
Punch one hole in the bottom mask, on the right side. Slide the other end of the ribbon through this hole, so the end pokes out the back. Tie knot to secure the ribbon. The ribbon will be loose and can hang in the back or the front of the invitation. It is there as a decorative element. - 4
Relaxing spa colors; P. Gaulin
Decorate the front of the paper mask invitation with polka dots. Use a soothing palette of two or three colors of the same tone. For inspiration on relaxing color combinations, see ColorSchemer.com. (see Resources) - 5
