A Failing Marriage - How Positive Thinking Will Help You Become Stronger

1
When you're going through a failing marriage, it's difficult to keep your chin up isn't it? You're always stressing out about something, and you certainly can't get a good night sleep to save your life because your mind is racing constantly.
So I guess thinking positive is probably the last thing on your mind right about now.
Well I suppose I can't blame you, marriage life is hard enough even if you get along with each other.
I have to tell you that sitting around feeling sorry for yourself because things aren't going so well, isn't going to get you anywhere except to feel more depressed.
You need to rise above that, so I have some suggestions that might help you through it.
First, you need to do something that makes you laugh.
For me personally I recently watched George Carlin on one his older stand up comedies and nine times out of ten that will do the trick.
Now mind you I'm not saying that you should do the exact same thing because I know he doesn't appeal to everybody, however I think you get the idea.
The point is even if you can get a few laughs for just for an hour or so, believe me it will help you because you're not thinking about the problem at hand and you won't feel as worn down emotionally.
In fact it might be enough of a pick me up to get you through the rest of your day and that's a huge accomplishment in my opinion.
The next thing is to do something you don't usually do.
Now if you're an active person like I am I would suggest taking a bike ride, or if it's too cold for that then try skating, cross country skiing, something of that nature.
You could join a gym or go to a YMCA if that's something that peaks your interest.
However if you're not an active person then I would suggest looking into taking a class of some sort, whether it be a computer course or just simply going to a seminar.
Anything that will help give you a boost forward.
Now I realize the title of this article might be a little misleading for you husbands and wives out there and for that I apologize.
The message I'm trying to get across is you need to accomplish one thing first.
Try to get yourself in a more positive frame of mind so that you're thinking more clearly.
Once you've done that then you can work on getting your marriage back on track.
Does that make sense to you? My suggestion to you would be is to keep this article bookmarked or saved so you have it for reference, and when you're ready to take the next step you'll be all set to do so.
Remember, it's up to you to decide for yourself what's right for you no one else should do it for you.
