How to Sell Something on Craigslist
- 1). Direct the browser of your choice to Craigslist.com.
- 2). Click the "For Sale" link above the list of categories containing items for sale. There is no need to click a specific category at this point.
- 3). Click the "Post" link in the upper right corner of the page that opens. Select the appropriate category on this page and then click "Continue." Select the area nearest you on the next page and click "Continue" again. You may be prompted to select an even more specific area; do so if you wish, or click "Bypass this step."
- 4). Fill out the information for your post. This includes a title, an email address and a description. You may optionally include a price and/or images as well. Click "Continue" when you are done. Review your post to ensure it is accurate. If so, click "Continue" again.
- 5). Check your email account. You should have an email from Craigslist. Click the link within this email. Accept the terms of use and then type the verification word(s) into the appropriate box. Click "Continue" to finish posting your ad.
