How to Make Snowman Sequencing Pictures
- 1). Start Windows Paint. Click the circle in the “Shapes” section of the ribbon. Position the cursor on the left side of the Paint canvas, leaving a bit of room from the top of the canvas. Draw a circle. Draw a second, slightly larger, circle below the first. Draw a third circle, larger than the first two, below the first two. You now have the snowman body.
- 2). Click the “Color 2” box on the ribbon. Click the black square in the “Colors” section so black now shows in both “Color 1” and “Color 2.” Click the “Fill” menu on the ribbon, and select “Solid Color.”
- 3). Draw a column of three small circles on the second circle, the snowman’s “middle,” to form his chest buttons. These circles appear solid black.
- 4). Draw two small circles on the top circle to form the snowman’s eyes. Draw a smiling arc of circles to form the snowman’s mouth.
- 5). Click the pencil icon in the “Tools” section. Draw the snowman’s hat. To fill the snowman’s hat with color, click a color from the “Colors” section, then click the paint bucket icon and click inside the hat. Repeat this step to draw the snowman’s scarf.
- 6). Switch colors to the orange square. Draw a carrot for the snowman’s nose.
- 7). Switch colors to the brown square. Draw a stick for the snowman’s arm coming out of the “body” — the second circle — and pointing up toward the top right corner of the canvas. The first snowman of the sequence is complete.
- 8). Click the “Select” button’s drop-down arrow on the ribbon. Click “Free-form selection” to select this option from the menu. Draw an outline around the snowman. Click the “Copy” button on the ribbon.
- 9). Click the “Paste” button on the ribbon. Drag the new snowman of the sequence to the right of the first, leaving a small bit of space between the two.

Click the eraser icon on the “Tools” section. Erase the snowman’s arm. Click the pencil tool; the same brown color should still be active in the “Color 1” box. Redraw the snowman’s arm, but draw it pointed straight to the right side of the canvas rather than angled to the top right. - 11
Repeat the selection process to select, copy and paste the second snowman, giving you a sequence of three. Erase the third snowman’s twig arm. Redraw it pointed to the bottom right corner of the canvas.
