You need to have good communication skills. You will be dealing with customers every day and you need to be able to set them at ease, starting a conversation and finding out what is required quickly. You need to be able to be friendly, but also professional, giving customers faith in your abilities.
You also need to have good organization skills. You will often be managing your own workload, deciding what tasks need to be done each day and making sure you complete as much work as you can in the time set to you. You need to be able to judge which tasks can be completed quickly, and which ones are the most important, maximizing the work you can do and always completing it to a high standard.
You will often be asked to work as part of a team, especially when completing difficult or important tasks. You need to be able to share your workload effectively, making sure all tasks are completed well, and liaising with other team members to make sure this is done. You need to be able to maintain professional relationships with the people you work with, working out who needs to do what. You need to know when to take charge and when to step back and let somebody with better skills for the task at hand to take charge of the situation.
