How to Remove Twine on Rump Roast
- 1). Remove the roast from the cooking source.
- 2). Allow the cooked roast to cool for 10 minutes. Letting the roast cool slightly before you cut it will ensure it remains juicy. Slicing into the roast without letting it cool causes most of the juices to drain from the roast.
- 3). Remove the kitchen twine from the roast by cutting it off with kitchen shears or a sharp kitchen knife. Discard the kitchen twine once you remove it from the roast.
- 4). Carve the roast against the grain into your desired portions.
