Antique Button Bracelet
That same bag of buttons used for the brooch also yielded lots of other great looking pieces.
I sorted the buttons into similar colors and made a few bracelets.
Three different bracelets were made, this black and silver-toned one, an all red bracelet and browns/tans/golds variations.
Note: I did have some problems with the button shanks eventually cutting through the elastic cord, so later on I've had to reinforce some of the buttons with heavy-duty button thread.

- Use elastic cord start stringing buttons cord.
- Next I just started crocheting a wide band about 1/2" wide and 6 1/2" long, moving the buttons into position as I crocheted.
NOTE: I really don't even know how to crochet, but just followed some simple directions. You won't even see the crochet part, so if there are any errors, it's not going to matter. The whole idea is loads of buttons.
- You could also just string buttons on the elastic cord, making it long enough to wrap around your wrist twice.
