Predator Mask Tutorial

    • 1). Cut the head strap off of the plastic dust mask. Apply epoxy glue along the edges where the mask would sit on the face. Place the mask over the mouth area of the goalie mask. This will be the breathing apparatus on the Predator mask. Let sit until the epoxy has bonded the dust mask to the goalie mask. Use a classic white goalie mask (the kind used in the Friday the 13th movies).

    • 2). Cut a piece of electrical tape as wide as the face of the goalie mask. Place the piece of tape running from ear to ear on the mask and across 1/3 of the top of the eye holes. Place another piece of tape running from the end of the tape on one side of the mask, down and under the eyes, and back to the other side on the mask so that the other end of this tape touches the other end of the first piece of tape.

    • 3). Spray the mask with steel color spray paint. Let sit until dry and spray another coat of steel paint. Let sit until dry.

    • 4). Cut 18-to-20 1 1/2 feet-long pieces of string. Wrap a piece of electrical tape around the end of a piece of string so that the end is thicker. Make a loop of electrical tape every 3 inches on the string from one end to the other. Do this for every piece of string. Paint each string with black acrylic paint. Let sit until dry.

    • 5). Tape one end of each piece of string to the inside corners of the mask using electrical tape. Space the string out around the top edge of the mask so that there will be room between each piece of string. They will hang around the corners of the top of the mask. These are the hair-like wires that hang around the back of the Predator's head.
